Product Safety Description
The Güde Alpha Santoku, barrel oak - with a hollow grind. This knife features a typical Japanese blade shape. In Japanese cuisine, the Santoku is something like our classic chef's knife, a basic piece of equipment for many tasks in our kitchens. Unlike the chef's knife, it is lighter, somewhat slimmer, and usually shorter, making it more elegant for many cooks. It is gaining more and more fans in kitchens across Germany. The hollow grind on this Santoku means that soft food doesn't stick to the knife as much as it does to smooth knife surfaces. The handle of this magnificent knife is made of barrel oak - oak - which was obtained from old wine barrels. This detail gives this knife a special touch.
