INNOVATIVE SHAPE
Your KAI SHUN Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo Santoku boasts a distinctive shape. When developing this small series of three knives, Tim Mälzer had the idea of combining the blade shape of a Santoku and a chef's knife. The result is compelling, a new design language in the field of luxury kitchen knives.
LUXURY MADE FROM DAMASCUS STEEL
The core of a Kai Shun Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo blade is made of extremely hard VG-MAX steel (61 (±1) HRC), encased in 32 layers of Damascus steel. The blades' elegant, glossy finish is complemented by a Damascus grain. A hybrid of a santoku and chef's knife, the rectangular shape of the blade allows for easy rocking motions and precise chopping. The blades are double-edged.
TREAT YOURSELF TO SOMETHING SPECIAL
Not satisfied with the standard? Treat yourself to something classy for your kitchen. With the Kai Shun Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo, you'll have more friends at work.
BREATHTAKING OPTICS
Kai Shun Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo. The series' name comes from its fine grain, reminiscent of the surface of water (Japanese: Minamo) in the rain. The outstanding appearance is a delight for any fan of sophisticated kitchen knives.

Product Safety Description
Tim Mälzer, the well-known TV chef, has collaborated on the concept of the knives that bear his name in a long-standing partnership. The initial idea was to combine the shapes of the classic chef's knife and the Santoku, merging the respective advantages of both blade shapes into a single form. The result is absolutely convincing. An innovative blade shape and a breathtakingly beautiful blade surface breathe new life into the world of sophisticated kitchen knives. The Santoku with an 18 cm blade, the universal tool of Japanese cuisine, reinterpreted according to Tim Mälzer's idea. Great quality, great looks.
