✓ Two sanding sides: 300 & 1,000

✓ Ideal for pre-sanding, touch-ups & fine sanding

Sharpness is not an option – it is mandatory

Only a sharp knife is a good knife. Anyone who cooks regularly knows: Cooking with a blunt knife is no fun – and even dangerous. With the Kai Shun whetstone with 300/1000 grit, you can ensure that your blades glide cleanly through tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables.

Two sides, one goal: maximum sharpness

The 300 grit is ideal for repairing small dents and imperfections on the blade or for pre-grinding. Then, the 1,000 grit side provides the finishing touches—bringing your knife back into shape.
For the final touch – polishing – we also recommend using a polishing stone with a grain of 3,000 or higher .

Dimensions & Material

Measuring approximately 18.4 x 6.2 x 2.9 cm, the whetstone fits comfortably in the hand and offers ample surface area for safe work. The high-quality workmanship represents genuine Kai brand quality , as you know and love from Japanese cooking accessories.
