Our sharkskin wasabi graters are ideal for grating wasabi or horseradish. A fresh piece of wasabi root has a very neutral flavor – only with the right grater and perfect technique does the delicious, aromatic wasabi paste develop. The distinctive aroma arises from the cells being destroyed when the wasabi is rubbed against the sharkskin. The Chojiro XXL wasabi grater is 13.5 cm long, including the handle. The grating surface measures 7 x 7 cm. The tanned sharkskin is attached to the board with adhesive.
